Orlando Water Parks are a great way to cool down. Here are some water parks in Orlando for your family to enjoy.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach is billed as a rapidly melting ski resort where chair lifts and ski jumps have been put to unusual use. Surf the slopes and shred the peaks on rides like Toboggan Racer, where you fly headfirst down the side of Mount Gushmore. You can ride a chairlift back to the top where you'll also find Summit Plummet, one of the world's highest free fall slides.
Kids will love Tike's Peak where they can fool around on mini icebergs and smaller slides designed just for them. The whole family can ride a giant tube on the twists of Teamboat Springs, while more adventurous individuals can try out Runoff Rapids or Snow Stormers, which are both great fun. The Double Dipper is a downhill racer with one rider competing against the other for the fastest time. The much more sedate Cross-Country Creek on the other hand floats you through ice caves and under icy waterfalls

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon features a jungle motif, with tropical vegetation, waterfalls, and tidal pools. The central attraction of this park is the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, the world's largest inland surfing lagoon. The 2.75 million gallon wave pool has two different modes, a surf mode with large waves at regular intervals, and a bobbing wave mode, with a continuous stream of smaller waves. Castaway Creek involves no thrills whatsoever, just a few gentle ripples as you zip around the park at 2mph, while Ketchakiddee Creek is where little people under 4 feet tall hang out and enjoy their own pint sized pools and slides. Take your pick - Gang Plank Falls, Keelhaul Falls, Mayday Falls - all very creative ways to get the whole gang from top to bottom in as many different ways, at as many different angles and with the maximum amount of splashes as humanly possible!

Wet 'n Wild features a full-day of fun for the entire family. Honored by Amusement Business Magazine as one of the nation's best-attended water parks since the onset of their survey. Wet 'n Wild's world-class signature thrill rides and quality service offer something for fun-lovers of all ages. Featured attractions include the water park industry's first interactive experience, Hydra Fighter, where two people sit back to back suspended by a bungee cord, while firing pressurized water cannons at other teams.

Aquatica  Sea World's Waterpark
Introducing Aquatica – a whimsical, one-of-a-kind water park that’s only in Orlando and could only come from SeaWorld. Where one river floats you through an undersea world of colorful fish and another rraces you into rolling rapids. Slides that spin and soak you, and our incredible signature ride – two awesome, enclosed tube slides that send you speeding through a lively lagoon filled with playful Commerson’s dolphins. Delight in the serene-to-extreme waters in the gigantic double wave pools and soak in the sun (or the cooling shade) on the white sand beach. Aquatica is where the fun is as endless as the sea itself. Slated opening Spring 2008.

Water Mania closed after 20 seasons on Labor Day, 5 September, 2005.
