The annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival takes place in October around the World Showcase Lagoon. One of the world's largest wine fests, the food and wine festival expands with new offerings each year. In addition to the 11 World Showcase countries, over 20 international food and wine marketplaces serve up samplings of unique foods and fine wines from around the globe.

In recent years, the popular festival has grown dramatically, attracting a diverse audience of wine connoisseurs and gourmands, as well as droves of wine amateurs eager to boost their wine IQs. In addition, the wine fest's Eat to the Beat! nightly concerts feature a more diverse lineup of performers including classic rock, oldies and country.

More than 100 wineries offer tastings, and savory cuisine is featured from more than 20 regions of the world at international marketplaces. At least 125 celebrity and Disney chefs conduct culinary demonstrations and host elegant dinners and tasting events. In addition, over 800 wine and beer seminars deliver complimentary samplings to festival guests.

Normal park admission is all that’s needed to partake in this event. There are literally hundreds of beer and wine seminars offering complimentary product samples. You also get the chance to attend classes and demonstrations hosted by top chefs. There are also lots of activities aimed at the younger visitors, with plenty of opportunities to get hands on.

In addition to the stalls around Epcot you can also opt to try one of the ticketed Special Events. These include such as Party for the Senses, Lunch and Learn with the Chefs, and Food & Wine Pairings.
